JANUARY 15 ARMY DAY

 Every year in India we celebrate January 15 as ARMY DAY
 To honor our nation’s ARMY who leave their own life to keep our INDIA safe.
 This year celebrated our 73rd ARMY DAY.
 This year ARMY DAY was celebrated at ARMY COMMAND HEADQUARTERS.
 This year PM Modi and Prez Kovind greet as “Strong, Brave, and Resolute” soldiers for “Making INDIA Proud”.
 It is celebrated on January 15th because on this General KM Cariappa became the first Indian to take charge of INDIAN ARMY in 1949.
 He took over from the last English Commander General Sir Francis Robert Roy Bucher.
 On this day the best and bravest soldiers are given awards and medals.
